Sheffield United manager Kevin Blackwell will not be adding any new loan signings to his squad before this week's deadline.Football League clubs have up until Thursday (5pm) to sign players on loan, but Blackwell is in no hurry after seeing his side win their last four league matches.

Blackwell told the club's official website: "I'm not really looking to do something at the moment, there are still five or six players I haven't seen play in the first team, so I haven't assessed everybody.

"When I came I needed to build an understanding on the field so I had to field a more or less settled team, just making the odd change when I had to.

"The players have done such a good job that it has made my job easier - how can I change a team when it has done well?"
