Clinton Morrison has revealed his agent has opened talks with Crystal Palace over signing an extension to his current deal at Selhurst Park.The Republic of Ireland striker, who has netted 14 times for Neil Warnock's side this term, is due to be a free agent in June and has previously spoken of his desire to stay with the Eagles.

The 28-year-old told the South London Press: "My agent spoke to them the other day and I'm glad the talks are finally beginning to happen. I'm happy to talk.

"It's up to my agent to negotiate - and if he does it well I'm going to sign at Palace."
