Blackpool boss Simon Grayson is refusing to take any risks over Michael Jackson as the defender closes in on a return to action. The club captain, 34, has been sidelined since last month due to a hamstring injury but is scheduled to play for the reserves against Preston on Wednesday.
Grayson told the Blackpool Gazette: "He has worked ever so hard to get back to where he is.
"But with a hamstring you have got to make sure that he is 100% ready for the game on Wednesday and ready for the rest of the season. We won't be taking any risks."
