Bury boss Alan Knill praised his players' resilience after they ground out another clean sheet in the win over relegation-threatened Mansfield. The Shakers took another huge stride towards safety by following their goalless draw at high-flying Hereford with a 2-0 home success over the Stags.
Knill's men have kept three clean sheets in their last four games and look to be all but safe from relegation after moving up to 15th in League Two.
He said: "That was a great performance from us. It wasn't the best since I've been here, but it's all about getting a win.
"And the lads do deserve a lot of credit. They've faced a punishing schedule of late and although it was tough out there, it was all about the result.
"For us to have secured three clean sheets in the last four games is also very pleasing for me and the lads."
