Wycombe manager Paul Lambert felt his team got what they deserved after a goalless draw with Stockport consolidated their play-off spot. The point was probably a better one for the Chairboys than their promotion-chasing visitors with Lambert's men taking their total to four points over the Easter weekend, an outcome that pleased their Scottish boss.
"I thought it was a fair result," he said. "Stockport have been on a terrific run of late and my players were tired after the back-to-back games so I couldn't have asked for more from them.
"We were better in the second half but the teams cancelled each other out and I thought a mistake was going to give one side the win.
"It's very hard to play on the Saturday and the Monday, but both teams gave everything."
