Barnsley striker Kayode Odejayi could be an early doubt for Saturday's Championship clash against Burnley at Turf Moor.Odejayi, matchwinner in the Tykes' FA Cup win over Chelsea earlier this month, sustained an ankle injury in the derby defeat to Sheffield United over the weekend.

Tykes manager Simon Davey said: "He bruised his ankle in a challenge, I don't know who it was with.

"He was struggling for a bit. He got strapped up at half-time and he continued even though he was still feeling some discomfort, but in the end we had to change it round."

Daniel Nardiello was sent on with 18 minutes remaining and would be expected to step up against Burnley if Odejayi fails to make it, with Istvan Ferenczi also vying for a return to the starting line-up alongside Jon Macken.
