Oldham manager John Sheridan saluted a "gutsy" display from his side after they battled back from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw at Doncaster.Substitute Jason Jarrett grabbed a 52nd-minute equaliser after Paul Heffernan had fired Rovers in front eight minutes before the interval.
Sheridan said: "I'm pleased with a point and it's full credit to the lads for the way they battled.
"I am disappointed with the goal we conceded but we came back into the game and I can't fault them for effort.
"Once we got back to 1-1 I thought we were comfortable. They hit the post and caused us one or two problems but other than that I thought we coped well.
"They are a good footballing side but we produced a very gutsy performance."
