Spain captain Iker Casillas believes Fernando Torres and Cesc Fabregas have benefited from moving to England.
Torres is currently second in the Premier League's goalscoring charts in his first season at Liverpool, while Fabregas has become an integral part of the Arsenal midfield.
The duo are among five members of the current Spain squad who ply their trade in England, and rather than seeing the exodus of Spanish players to the Premier League as a negative, Real Madrid's Casillas is sure it will pay dividends for the national side.
"Torres was right to go to the Premier League, without doubt," he told Spanish newspaper AS.
"It has been amazing for him, he's matured, he's grown a lot and he is one of the really big names over there.
"Just like it has been with Cesc, whose situation is the same. These are two exceptional footballers and their success is marvellous for the Spanish national team."
But while Casillas' confidence is boosted by the performances of the likes of Torres and Fabregas, he still believes Spain have a way to go before they can repeat their solitary European Championships success of 1964.
"Spain aren't like Italy, France, Brazil or Argentina," he added.
"With (coach) Luis (Aragones) there's a good team, a good group, who are united and looking forward to the Euros.
"We'll give it everything for a country desperate for success, but we're lacking that extra something that other national teams have."
