Watford midfielder John Eustace has been handed a four-game ban from the FA following his sending-off against Stoke earlier this month.

The 28-year-old (pictured left with Watford's Dan Shittu) was shown a straight red card by referee Rob Styles after just 22 minutes of the 0-0 draw against his former club at Vicarage Road and was initially given a three-match suspension.

But the original ban has now been extended following a personal hearing at the FA after Styles reported him for failing to leave the field of play in a timely manner.

Eustace will now miss the upcoming games against Hull, Coventry and Barnsley after starting his ban against Plymouth Argyle last weekend.
