Portsmouth striker Milan Baros has not ruled out staying at Fratton Park beyond the current campaign but says his future will not be cleared up until the end of the season.

Baros joined Pompey on a six-month loan deal that expires in the summer and, while he has been in and out of Harry Redknapp's first team since arriving on the south coast, the Czech Republic international could yet prolong his stay there.

"What will happen after this season, we will see. Possibly though," Baros told Sport. "Everything is to be solved after Euro 2008. It is still too early to say."

Having lost his place to Karim Benzema, Baros quit the French champions in search of regular football with one eye on his country's upcoming campaign in Austria and Switzerland.

But the 26-year-old has started just six league games for Pompey and is yet to open his goal account, although he claims Redknapp's selection policy has not created any problems for him.

"The coach picks a one-striker formation for away games so I expected it a bit," he said.

"Otherwise, I cannot complain at all. The only thing I am lacking is a goal."
