Promotion-chasing Rochdale have been dealt a blow ahead of the trip to Gigg Lane to face Bury after Tottenham recalled goalkeeper David Button. The England Under-19 international joined the League Two promotion-chasers towards the end of March and has since been on the bench as back-up for Tommy Lee.
Lee, on loan from Macclesfield, is currently Rochdale's only fit goalkeeper and is himself subject to a recall clause.
Dale boss Keith Hill will check on the fitness of defenders Simon Ramsden and Marcus Holness, who have both picked up knocks in the past two games.
Hill's side secured a play-off berth last weekend after beating Morecambe 1-0 to record their seventh successive home win.
They lie just four points behind third-placed Hereford and automatic promotion remains possible with two games remaining.
