Devaney struggling for Addicks test

Fri 25 Apr, 12:15 PM

Barnsley are expected to be without Martin Devaney for their home clash with Charlton at Oakwell in the Championship on Saturday afternoon. The Tykes winger sustained a hamstring injury in training this week and is struggling to make it.

Jamal Campbell-Ryce is expected to step up for Devaney, but otherwise manager Simon Davey is likely to name an unchanged line-up.

The Tykes will be without striker Michael Coulson on the substitutes' bench after the 20-year-old damaged cruciate ligaments in training this week.

Davey must decide whether to recall big striker Kayode Odejayi or stick with Daniel Nardiello alongside Jon Macken up front.

Coulson joins goalkeeper Heinz Muller and Anderson De Silva in the treatment room, the latter two sustaining similar injuries earlier in the season.
