Blackpool loan star Paul Dickov is determined to help the club secure their Championship status at Plymouth this weekend.The veteran Scot, 35, has scored six goals since arriving from Manchester City in January.

The Seasiders are four points clear of the drop zone with only two games remaining and victory at Home Park will end the threat of relegation.

Dickov told the Blackpool Gazette: "We've got 53 points now and hopefully we won't be going anywhere with that.

"But we've got to prepare ourselves for a hard game at Plymouth and regardless of what happens to anyone else we've got to go there and try and get a result."
