Leicester keeper Paul Henderson says a strong finish will not only stave off relegation but also help build momentum for next season.Victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday will guarantee the Foxes their Championship status.

Henderson believes he is playing behind one of the best defences in the division and has called on City to build on last week's win at Barnsley by guaranteeing their survival.

He told the Leicester Mercury: "Most goalkeepers would be happy behind that defence. They are one of the best in the Championship so it goes to show they are doing a good job.

"The sooner we make ourselves safe, the sooner we can look ahead. If we finish the campaign well then hopefully we can carry it into next season."
