Hornets have choices against Iron

Fri 25 Apr, 12:00 PM

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd has no fresh injury concerns for Saturday's Championship clash at home to relegated Scunthorpe. The Hornets have won just once in their last 12 games to blow an almost certain automatic promotion place and need a win over the Iron to consolidate a play-off place.

Boothroyd's side have scored just 12 goals in their last 14 games and after Tamas Priskin hit the crossbar from four yards out during last weekend's 2-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace, he could be dropped.

That would see either record signing Nathan Ellington or Steve Kabba - with six goals between them this season - come in to partner Darius Henderson.

Collins John has been sent back to Fulham after a fruitless loan spell was cut short by a thigh injury while midfielder Gareth Williams could come into contention for the play-offs after a year out with a knee injury.
