Keogh ready for spicy clash

Fri 25 Apr, 03:30 PM

Wolves striker Andy Keogh admits the fact Coventry have yet to guarantee their survival is certain to add extra bite to Saturday's clash.Wanderers will arrive at the Ricoh Arena knowing only a victory is likely to be good enough to keep them in contention for a play-off place.

The game is of equal importance to the Sky Blues, however, who are just three points above the drop zone after last weekend's 5-1 drubbing of already-relegated Colchester.

Keogh said: "It's a massive game. They could still go down so they're not going to sit back, they're going to be right at it and it will be a tough test.

"We would have liked them to be safe, but maybe it will bring a better atmosphere to the game because their fans are going to be right at it and our fans are going to be at it. To be fair I think we perform better when there's a better atmosphere.

"They had a good win last weekend. We need to go there and keep it tight, we've been scoring goals so we have every chance."
