Fri 25 Apr, 10:45 AM

Matt Heath should return to the Colchester defence for the last-ever game at Layer Road against Stoke on Saturday afternoon. The on-loan Leeds centre-half missed last weekend's 5-1 drubbing by Coventry with a tight groin, but he is back in training and should be fit.

Veteran former England striker Teddy Sheringham is also in full training following the foot problem which has interrupted his 25th and final season and could get a run-out over the last two games.

Defender Pat Baldwin, winger Mark Yeates and goalkeeper Aidan Davison (all shoulder) are the only long-term injury absentees.

The Us are leaving their home of 71 years after Saturday's game and will kick off in League One next season at their new 10,000-seater Community Stadium.
