Orient pair to miss Swans clash

Fri 25 Apr, 03:45 PM

Alton Thelwell and Tamika Mkandawire are Leyton Orient's only absentees ahead of the trip to the Liberty Stadium to take on champions Swansea.Thelwell is recovering from surgery on the persistent knee problem which has dogged him all season, and fellow centre-half Mkandawire is resting his hernia injury.

Brian Saah and Sam Oji should therefore continue at the back, with boss Martin Ling unlikely to make any changes.

Ling switched to a 4-3-3 formation against Doncaster last week and was rewarded with a 1-1 draw to end the Os' five-match losing streak.

Wayne Gray, Jabo Ibehre and Andy Barcham formed the attack in front of a midfield trio of Paul Terry, Jason Demetriou and player of the year Adam Chambers.

Teenage forward Loick Pires made his debut from the bench last week and will hope to be involved again.
