Nigel Pearson is urging Southampton to put a difficult season behind them and give their all in the final two matches to secure their survival.Saints' destiny is still in their own hands but they could find themselves in the relegation zone by the time they kick-off at West Brom on Monday night.

"We need the mindset that it is a two-game season now. Everything hinges on these final two fixtures," said Pearson. "We cannot change what has gone before and it would be unprofessional to think back to other games.

"We cannot be distracted by West Brom going for promotion or other results. We have to focus on our own game and make sure we get something on Monday night.

"It will be a tough game but if we go their with the right mentality then we can make it difficult for them."
