Cheltenham Town boss Keith Downing is sweating on the fitness of Alan Wright as the Robins attempt to clinch survival at Oldham.The Robins currently hold a three-point lead over Gillingham with two games remaining and would secure their League One status if they better the Gills' result from their 12.30pm kick-off against Swindon.
Veteran defender Wright has been struggling with an Achilles problem but is due to train on Friday in a bid to prove his fitness.
On-loan midfielder Alex Russell has returned to training following a stomach injury and is included in Downing's 19-man squad to face the Latics.
Striker Ashley Vincent is making progress with his knee injury and a late decision will be made on his availability.
But Damian Spencer (knee), Michael Townsend (illness), Gavin Caines (knee) and John Finnigan (ankle) are all out for the remainder of the campaign.
