Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore will assess the fitness of Jennison Myrie-Williams and Calvin Zola ahead of the final home game against Southend.On-loan Bristol City winger Myrie-Williams is nursing a knee injury which has forced him to miss the last two games.
Striker Zola has also missed the last two games due to a hamstring strain and both players are rated as doubtful to face the Shrimpers.
Moore will also assess the fitness of winger Steve Davies as he bids to shake off an abductor injury but influential midfielder Paul McLaren is suspended after receiving his tenth booking.
Last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Huddersfield was the 10th time Rovers had been beaten on their travels this season and ended their hopes of a top-six finish.
