Sinnott ponders selection changes

Fri 25 Apr, 03:30 PM

Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott could opt to ring the changes for his side's final home game of the season against Northampton Town. The relegated Valiants slipped to a humiliating 6-0 defeat against Swindon last weekend, a result which left Sinnott none too impressed despite their fate having already been sealed.

Danny Glover was named among the substitutes last week after recovering from an Achilles complaint and will hope to start, but Luke Rodgers (ankle) is doubtful.

Vale are also again likely to be without Kyle Perry, who is still recovering from a thigh injury suffered in training.

Loan signing Mitchell Hanson definitely misses out after returning to parent club Derby following his knee injury suffered in action for the reserves and Robin Hulbert (shoulder), Shane Tudor (knee) and Colin Miles (medial ligament) are again sidelined.

Joe Anyon remains doubtful so teenage goalkeeper Chris Martin may be handed another chance despite conceding six times on his debut last weekend.
