Peter Leven and Jack Lester will miss Chesterfield's game at Macclesfield as they go through the motions after missing out on the play-offs.Midfielder Leven is nursing a knee injury after colliding with the referee during last week's 1-1 draw against Darlington, a result that ended the Spireites chances of reaching the play-offs.
Top scorer Lester returned from a month out with a broken nose as a second-half substitute in that game.
The 26-goal striker has been suffering with restricted breathing again this week and is set for a minor operation to solve the problem.
He could be available for the final game of the season against Notts County at Saltergate.
Midfielder Jamie Winter is a doubt after he did not train on Thursday due to illness.
