Duo out of France tour

Mon 25 May, 12:21 PM

France captain Lionel Nallet and number eight Imanol Harinordoquy have both pulled out of Les Bleus' summer tour to the southern hemisphere.

It is the latest blow for head coach Marc Lievremont after Morgan Parra withdrew from the squad on Sunday night.

Bayonnais flanker Remy Martin, who has not featured for France since 2007, and Perpignan lock Damien Chouly have been called up for the tour, which starts against New Zealand on June 13.

It is the first time Lievremont will be without Nallet since taking over after the 2007 World Cup.

Biarritz's Dimitri Yachvili replaces Parra, who suffered a shoulder injury following a late tackle in Bourgoin's defeat to Northampton in the European Challenge Cup final.

France travel Down Under on June 2 and will face New Zealand twice before taking on Australia on June 27.
