Leyton Orient have been handed a boost by the news that Wayne Gray will not need an operation on his medial knee ligament injury.Gray, who sustained the injury in the 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers on the final day of last season, was feared to be set for a long period on the sidelines with surgery looking the only option, but is now expected to join the side for pre-season training.
But scans have since revelled the striker will not need to go under the knife and should be available for pre-season.
