Wolves' wantaway Nigeria international midfielder Seyi Olofinjana is attracting interest from Premier League side Wigan.The 28-year-old had a transfer request granted after Wanderers missed out on promotion last season.

But Wolves will hold out for their £3million valuation for Olofinjana, who arrived from Brann Bergen for £1.75 million four year ago.

Wigan manager Steve Bruce is a known admirer and attempted to sign the Lagos-born player during his six-year spell as Birmingham manager.

A Wolves source told Wigan Today: "Wigan are one club who have expressed an early interest, although it remains to be seen whether they come in with a concrete bid."
