Wembley will again stage this year's Race of Champions following a successful debut in December.
The event brings together the world's top drivers from a range of motor sport's, notably Formula One, World Rally, World Touring Car, NASCAR and DTM.
Retired seven-times Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher won the Nations Cup event for Germany in conjunction with Sebastian Vettel, who currently drives for Toro Rosso.
But then in the individual knockout series, Schumacher was beaten by Mattias Ekstrom in the final as the current DTM champion retained the title he won at the Stade de France the previous year.
Schumacher, who will again compete at Wembley on December 14, said: "The great thing about The Race of Champions is whether you win or lose, it's a lot of fun.
"All the drivers really enjoy themselves and, because they're so close to the action, the crowd love it too."
High ticket prices last year led to Wembley being only half full, so in a determined bid to guarantee a full house, organisers have responded.
Tickets for the event have already gone on sale, with adult prices starting at under £15, including a 20% discount if bought before July 31.
Event organiser president Fredrik Johnsson added: "British fans have a great passion for motorsport, and really embraced The Race of Champions when we brought the event to the UK for the first time last year.
"We looked at proposals from several venues around the world, but as Wembley is such a unique and fantastic venue, plus the fact we got extremely positive feedback from spectators last December, it was the best choice for 2008."
