Nottingham Forest insist striker Nathan Tyson is "going nowhere" following interest from several rival Championship clubs.

Bristol City saw a £750,000 bid for Tyson rejected last month and the Robins have been tipped to make a fresh offer.

Norwich have also been linked with the forward, but Forest chief executive Mark Arthur says Tyson is not for sale.

"Nathan Tyson is going nowhere, he is a big part of what we are trying to build for the future," Arthur told the Nottingham Evening Post.

The 26-year-old has 12 months remaining on his current contract at the City Ground and has expressed a wish to stay with the club.

Forest are keen to hand the former Wycombe ace a new two-year deal in an attempt to ward off interest from other clubs.
