Carlos Tevez is considering offers from Manchester City, Chelsea and one other club, according to the player's adviser Kia Joorabchian.
After Tevez decided not to renew his contract with Manchester United, Joorabchian commented the Argentinian's future will be defined in "about 10 days" and hinted City were in pole position to sign the player.
Joorabchian told Radio del Plata: "Right now we are evaluating the proposals from Manchester City, Chelsea and one other team. In the next two weeks, Carlos, Adrian (Rouco, Tevez's agent) and I will meet to sort this out."
He added: "City is a club with most of the chances because they are building a big squad, but it is not a decisive point.
"The contract with United officially runs to until June 31 and we'll respect that. After July 1, we'll see. We may be defined in 10 days."
Last weekend, Tevez turned down a lucrative five-year offer to stay at Old Trafford, with Joorabchian making clear it arrived too late.
He said: "Carlitos has never asked United for money, he has never complained about his contract. It is not a problem regarding money, but we never talked about that in two years.
"In two years, (United manager Sir Alex) Ferguson always said we were going to sit down to negotiate but we never did so. He sent an offer, but it was too late because they had not offered anything in two years."

city lead the race cos no one else thinks he's worth more than twenty million
If i must say? I am highly disappointed in Sir Ferguson over the issue of tevez, after neglecting the hardworking Argentine, he now want's to pen him down and the player made a wise decision, he will be left to regret it. I must say good luck to Tevez with Man City next season we will never forget what you did for us the united fan.
With City being a team on the up, the next three seasons will be considered golden years. It will be a great club to be around, with a fantastic atmosphere. Compare it to the Mourinho years at Chelsea and then consider the fact City got higher weekly attendence than the London crew when they were in the old third division. Imagine the support and feeling around the club when they finally break the silver deadlock.
Which means the players involved in this will gell and deposit long term loyalty there. Great players come and go, all of them earn more than they will ever need but very few go down in history. That is their motivation, the Ferraris and stuff are just toys. If things work out over the next three years, this team will acheive that. The City fans are so starved of success and yet so loyal, the team will not need to win a treble or even a double to be acclaimed.
I can see Tevez becoming a 'City legend' if he signs.
I'm looking forward to seeing Robinho and Tevez team up. Their styles will compliment each other very well. He will also take some of the 'marked man' pressure of Robinho that hindered him so much in the second half of the season.
Such a partnership will be good for the spectator to watch and good for the team in the way of results. It will also be interesting in the fact that the Argentina X Brasil rivalry is perhaps the most bitter of all international football. Although both players are/should be professional enough to deal with it, I live in Brazil and travel a lot to Argentina and so know that the average Pedro on the street isn't.
Training against Tevez will also benefit the City defenders as he looks to be (unlike Robinho) the type of player who gives 100% in all situations.
Sign him!!
come on tevez ..................... C.T.I.D. city city city
When United were chanting "sign him" to Fergy i'm sure there was more than 1 fan singing it or is that all forgotten now? If he is taking this long to make his mind up he can go to Chelsea for me.
the players that join man city are the singl-cell organism get it right
the munichs are poorer than burnley hahahahahahahahah liquidation next n points deducted hahahahaha an jock fergus is gone in 18 months MAYBE 12....... C.T.I.D.
IF YOU HATE CITY THEN GET OFF THE WEBSITE YOU SINGLE-CELL ORGANISM!

hi
pegez your right mate we wont miss him and he is a greedy toerag who is going to the blue scummers for cash same as barry robinho de jong etc he never scored enough goals anyway yeah couldnt fault his workrate and he scored some important goals but even he knew he would never be first choice striker and when he isnt playing every week like he moaned about he will spit his dummy out and as for a city fan having the chek to call us bitter ha ha pot kettle black mate springs to mind as city fans are the most bitter jealous losers ever who look for uniteds score before there own anyway i hope to see city in the champions league in my lifetime as i have not had a good laugh for ages ha ha priceless city fans on the sport pages there all coming out of the woodwork now they got money ha ha ha
At the end of the day carlos will become a blue. We will ensure he is welcomed carlos, robinho, ireland and possibly eto'o will finally bring us some silver
Just wait and see he might just finish up at Liverpool who knows, When agents get into the act whats best for the agent seems to be the priority.
GMH
Pegez, it depends on what you mean by "geographically". Manure were formed in Newton Heath and City in Gorton, so make your own mind up. They've both moved around since then, but I think even you will agree that as a percentage, more City season ticket holders are from Manchester than Manure fans, according to several surveys that have been done over the year.
Back to Tevez......the thing with this is that we can never really know what has gone on or what is in Tevez's head. Sure, he may be leaving you lot for more money, but there seem to be other reasons too. Or maybe a combination of them? Who knows? One thing is certain, we will welcome him like a lost son and your lot will miss him. Like Rooney, he is a superb battling centre-forward. Any team would miss him.
Tearoom - your joking!
Plse Sir Alex Ferguson bring in Donovan of USA, a good midfielder and good replacement of Ronaldo and Tevez
Rock and Roll Machine not biter at all. If he doesn't want to be there, fine. After he said he did. You would say the same if it were your club. As for City being the only true Manchester team, yeah sure - what have they won recently? If you saids that for geographical reasons then Bayern Munich are not from Munich either, since they are not in the city 'proper' but in a borough
When Alex Ferguson said he was going to bring some new faces to Man Utd, Tevez was first in the queue saying how he would like one.
