Leeds' summer signing Jason Crowe is confident he can help the club climb out of League One at the third attempt next season.
The 30-year-old full-back will officially join Simon Grayson's promotion chasers next week when his contract at Northampton expires.
Crowe, who started out at Arsenal and won promotion at both Portsmouth and Northampton, said: "When I speak to the staff and the manager the ambition and the aim is to get out of here this season."
He continued: "The manager seems quite relaxed, he says it's an enjoyable camp, it's a good group of boys and training's intense.
"You always want to play for a manager, be happy in your surroundings and give your all for him. I've heard a lot of good things about him.
"I'm looking forward to it and hopefully we can get off to a good start."
