Joe Mattock insists he remains focused on the job in hand at Leicester despite speculation linking him with a move to the Premier League.The Leicester-born defender was the subject of a bid from West Ham last season, while Aston Villa and Everton have also been linked with a move for the 18-year-old.

Mattock is ignoring the speculation and concentrating solely on events at the Walkers Stadium.

"Things like that happen but I am just focusing on what I am doing on the pitch," Mattock told the Leicester Mercury.

"The manager is trying to get a good team bonding going and a good team spirit is what we need because this league is going to be fast and he wants us to just play our football."
