Earnshaw raring to go for Forest

Fri 25 Jul, 12:45 PM

Nottingham Forest striker Robert Earnshaw is relishing the prospect of getting off the mark on home soil against Everton on Friday night.A groin problem prevented the £2.65million summer signing from Derby featuring in the wins over Burton and Telford earlier this week, after making his debut against Offenbach Kickers in Germany last Friday.

The Wales international is now looking forward to pitting his wits against the Toffees.

"I can't wait to face Everton," Earnshaw told the club's official website. "I want to get a shirt on, get out there and play.

"It will be a good game, a good test for us and is just what we need at this stage of pre-season.

"They will give us a lot of problems with their movement but it's better that we encounter those sort of problems now before the season starts."
