Scunthorpe United manager Nigel Adkins has finally completed a deal to sign former Manchester United defender Michael Lea.Lea has been on trial with the club for the past month and has impressed Adkins during pre-season training and in the recent friendlies against Doncaster and Brigg Town.

The 20-year-old has now penned a one-year deal at Glanford Park and the club have the option of extending Lea's stay for another year.
