Jordan Rhodes grabbed a brace as a young Ipswich side strolled to an easy 5-0 win at Tiptree in their latest pre-season game on Thursday.Rhodes opened the scoring when he collected Jaime Peters' pass and rounded the goalkeeper before doubling the lead from Dan Harding's cross.
Alex Bruce headed the third after the break after Harding's corner was not cleared before Jack Ainsley made it four when Billy Clarke's shot was not held.
Clarke rounded off the scoring late on with a fine finish from the edge of the area.
