Cheltenham striker Ashley Vincent is close to committing his future to the Robins and signing a new one-year deal with the Whaddon Road club.The 23-year-old scored just two goals for the Robins last season but boss Keith Downing is keen for Vincent to remain at the club.

He told the club's official website: "The offer has always been there for Ashley to stay so hopefully we can get that concluded over the next couple of days.

"Ashley has been part of things for three or four years now and I think there is more to come from his as well."
