John Quinn reports Blythe Knight to be in fine fettle as he prepares to tackle one of the biggest tests of his career in the Sky Bet Stakes at York.
The popular eight-year-old has appeared to be as good as ever this season, winning the Group Three Diomed Stakes at Epsom for a second time before registering a game victory in Listed company at Chester.
However, with Pipedreamer, Campanologist and Tajaaweed standing in his way on the Knavesmire, Quinn admits his charge faces a stiff examination.
"He seems in great form but obviously it looks a very tough race," said the trainer.
"He has done us proud all season and we have nothing to lose running in a hot event like this.
"He owes us nothing whatever happens, so we are looking forward to seeing how he fares in this company."
