Bradford City have beaten off competition from League One outfit Cheltenham to sign strikers Michael Boulding and Rory Boulding.
The brothers looked all set for a switch to Keith Downing's Robins, but after a dramatic U-turn on Wednesday night the pair travelled up to Scotland to join up with Stuart McCall's Bantams on their pre-season tour.
Michael (pictured), 32, and Rory, 20, have both penned two-year deals with the League Two outfit as McCall puts the finishing touches to his promotion-chasing squad.
Stuart McCall said: "Michael was our first choice as a striker because he offers something different to what we've already got.
"He's someone who can get in behind the defence with a bit of pace.
"I'm also pleased to have Rory on board. He's on exactly the same contract as Luke Medley was on and will be there to push the main strikers.
"With the other lads we've already got, hopefully we are now going to have enough firepower to be up there challenging."
Grimsby, Lincoln and Rotherham were also in the running to land the pair, but the brothers have signed for the Bantams after their release from Mansfield Town.
Michael however, will not be fit for the start of the season after injuring his ankle while training with the Bantams.
"We will have Michael looked at when we go back down the road but we spoke to his surgeon and it's only a grade two tear in the smallest ligament in his ankle," added McCall.
"He's had a scan and it will clear up fully in three to four weeks. He obviously won't be ready for the start of the season but I've said to him that a season lasts 46 games."
