Elvis Seveali'l claims he cannot afford to hold back in Samoa's World Cup warm-up game on Friday evening, even though it is against his club Sale.
Seveali'l is part of Samoa's World Cup squad and, like all the other players selected for the Sale match, will be trying to impress coach Michael Jones in front of what is likely to be a packed house at Edgeley Park.
The 15 stone centre, who can also play on the wing, confirmed that the Sale fans are in for an exciting clash.
"We are all fighting for a place in the World Cup starting line-up so the supporters can expect to see Samoa at their best in this game," said the popular Seveali'l.
"I have prepared for this like any other game but it will seem strange playing against my Sharks team-mates."
Seveali'l will be joined by a number of other Samoans who play their trade in the English Premiership, including the Henry, Andy and Alex Tuilagi from Leicester.
"All the Tuilagi brothers are due to take part in the game and it promises to be a great night," added Seveali'l.
"It's great news that Sililo Martens and Charlie Hodgson are fit again and I am sure the Sharks will be giving everything they've got in the game."
Sale director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre confirmed that Hodgson, who missed out on England's World Cup squad owing to a long-term knee injury, would play against the Pacific Islanders in a strong line up.
"Charlie played 40 minutes in Bayonne and played very well, he kicked five from five and is looking very fit and refreshed," said Saint Andre.
"I will be naming my strongest available side and included will be Dean Schofield, Magnus Lund, Chris Jones, Steve Hanley, Richard Wigglesworth, Lionel Faure and new signing Rudi Keil.
"It will be a big occasion for the club and the supporters and we are looking to this game to build on last week's performance in Bayonne."
