Under-pressure Derby boss Paul Jewell could make changes for his side's Carling Cup second round tie at Championship rivals Preston.Jewell introduced Dean Leacock and Nacer Barazite at half-time in County's home league defeat to Southampton on Saturday.
Claude Davis and Steve Davies were the players to make way.
Forward Barazite, on loan from Arsenal until the end of the year, was impressive against Saints and could have done enough to thrust himself into the starting line-up at Deepdale on Tuesday night.
Emanuel Villa made his first start of the season against Southampton and Jewell must decide whether to stick with the Argentinian or recall Nathan Ellington, whose hat-trick saw off League Two club Lincoln in round one of the competition.

I think Paul Jewell should accept he's wasted everyones time at Direby.Poor players bought in, poor management and poor results all still someone elses fault eh Jewell??
Ah poor Direby
i agree with u ali...
i just think its terrible a club like us lose to the likes of southampton and doncaster....
leacock isnt a bad player... i wanna see villa start with ellington up top.. i just think savage is frustrating to watch.
a question... what happened to david jones... he was always trying i felt.
leacock is a really poor player says a lot for a very poor derby
It should be a easy game 4 pne , COME ON PNE
Ithink paul jewell should play villa and ellington up front and drop hulse and also keep steve davies and claude davies in the team we seemed to go to pieces on satuday in midfield after half time changes Green was doing his own job and also that of savage. We know it will take time for all the new players to gell but we couldnt even play basic football on saturday!
