Tranmere midfielder Gareth Edds insists he is willing to play in several positions in order to help the League One club attain success.Summer signing Edds arrived at Prenton Park with an impressive reputation as a midfielder who can both defend and score goals.

However, the Australian says he is also capable of filling in at right-back for Ronnie Moore's men.

Edds said: "I like to think I can do both midfield roles and I can play right-back as well.

"Obviously I prefer to be the midfielder who gets forward into the box and scores goals, as anyone would.

"But I'm prepared to do whatever the manager wants."
