Mon 25 Aug, 03:15 PM

Paul Trollope insists Bristol Rovers can go into a clutch of away matches in good spirits after hammering Hereford at the Memorial Stadium.Rovers won their first game of the season on Saturday in emphatic fashion, beating Hereford 6-1.

Next up for Trollope's side is a trip to promotion favourites Leeds before travelling to Bournemouth in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and another away game at newly-promoted Peterborough.

"We have three away games in a row now but we can go into those game in good spirits," Trollope said.

"Leeds won't be easy, and we know we need to take something from it. Then that leads into a tricky tie at Bournemouth and a tough trip to Peterborough.

"But we can take a lot of positives (from the Hereford match) and hopefully keep them in our game for the forthcoming fixtures."
