The 21-year-old, who spent six months with Leyton Orient last season, will offer a further attacking option to manager Mark Stimson, with fellow frontman Mark McCammon starting a three-match ban this weekend.

Barcham becomes the third player to move from White Hart Lane to Priestfield on loan this season, following centre-back Leigh Mills and winger Charlie Daniels, and will go straight into the Gills squad to face Port Vale on Saturday.

Gillingham currently occupy 9th place in League Two after taking 10 points from their first seven games.

  2. He may well get his first start on Saturday against Port Vale, so best of luck to him, the Gills need a bit more quality up front. Hopefully Barcham will give them just that.
