Stephen Hendry broke his 2009 Premier League duck with a crushing 5-1 win over Neil Robertson in Southampton.
The margin of victory over the Australian was the biggest of the competition so far this season as the seven-times world champion rediscovered his winning touch after three rounds of action.
Hendry sealed victory with a break of 127 in the sixth and final frame, picking up a cheque for £6,000 in the process for recording the highest break of the tournament.
"At the beginning and at the end of the match I played very well," said Hendry. "There were a couple of bad shots that I played in the middle frames but apart from that I was very happy with the way I played.
"When you have a 2-0 lead you have to be confident that you will get a point. I lost last week and if I had lost two in a row then it would've been tough to get back from that."
