Bordeaux playmaker Yoann Gourcuff, who has scored four goals in six league matches this season, is a doubt for the leaders' game against Rennes because of a thigh injury.

Rennes will be without key midfielder Kader Mangane after the Senegalese player picked up a third three yellow card in his last 10 appearances.

Marseille striker Fernando Morientes has played just 87 minutes, all of them as a substitute, in six league games since joining from Valencia but coach Didier Deschamps expects the 33-year-old to regain fitness "sooner or later."

Marseille travel to Valenciennes on Saturday.

"You did not see him a lot because I chose not to make him play for now. I thought and he did too, that it would take less time for him to be fit," Deschamps said.

Lyon's Lisandro Lopez could be included in the squad to face Toulouse on Saturday despite groin injury problems after the Argentine striker said he was "feeling fine".

St Etienne forward Boubacar Sanogo is doubtful for Saturday's trip to Monaco after picking up a minor groin injury in his team's 4-1 thrashing of Nice in the League Cup earlier this week.

Lille will be without midfielder Yohan Cabaye when they host Nice on Sunday after he was shown a straight red card against arch-rivals Lens last weekend.
