Dobie in line for Swans return

Swansea's leading scorer Stephen Dobbie is in contention to return against high-flying Sheffield United.

The summer signing from Queen of the South has been sidelined for a month with a rib injury, but came through a reserve team game against Forest Green in midweek. Dobbie could be recalled by boss Paulo Sousa to provide a cutting edge after the Swans failed to score in their last three games.

Midfielder Joe Allen also returns to the squad after missing last weekend's trip to Barnsley as a precaution following a lay-off with a hamstring problem.

Ferrie Bodde came off the bench against the Tykes as he continues to build up his fitness following a long lay-off with a knee injury and is expected to be on the bench once again.

Darren Pratley has recovered from a shoulder injury but will not return to training until next week due to illness.

Defender Albert Serran will be out for a further two to three weeks with an ankle injury, while Guillem Bauza (knee) is a long-term absentee.
