Scott wants same again

Brentford boss Andy Scott urged his side to show consistency with back-to-back wins after a gritty 2-0 win over Stockport.

Brentford celebrated only their second Saturday win of the campaign since the opening day and Scott expects the same in next weekend's trip to Exeter.

Goals either side of the break from Charlie MacDonald and substitute Myles Weston ensured the points went to the Londoners, leaving Scott delighted with the character shown by his players.

He said: "The atmosphere on and off the field was quite nervous to start with but our players stepped up to the plate and showed they have the character to compete and are desperate to do well.

"But good sides this division are consistent sides and we now need to build on this performance and result and take it to Exeter where we will be looking to keep the run going."
