Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton paid tribute to Terrell Forbes after his team's 2-1 win at Bristol Rovers.

The popular centre-back netted his first goal in more than 350 appearances to seal victory for the Glovers..

Chris Dickson had volleyed Rovers ahead on 46 minutes before substitute Jonathan Obika equalised with his first touch.

"Terrell scores a lot in training and recently he has been getting in positions to threaten a goal," he said.

"I told him I would be the manager he would score for and that's why he came running over to the dug-out after the ball went in.

"He's had a long wait and it couldn't happen to a nicer lad."
