Wilson rues lack of bite

Swindon boss Danny Wilson felt his side were lacking up front as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Norwich.

The Robins were sunk by a Chris Martin strike to condemn them to a second straight defeat having previously lost just one of their opening 12 games.

"Apart from giving away a sloppy goal when we weren't first to a loose ball I thought we did very well for long periods but we let ourselves down in the final third," Wilson said.

"We weren't getting the ball in the sort of areas where we could pose a threat and that is something we are going to have to address.

"But it is certainly not all doom and gloom. Norwich are a real handful, they have got a lot of good players and that is why they are one of the favourites for promotion. But we gave a good account of ourselves out there and certainly made it tough for them although, as I said, there wasn't enough of a threat going forward."
