Calderwood calm after Forest win

Sun 25 Nov, 04:30 PM

Nottingham Forest manager Colin Calderwood urged his side to keep their feet on the ground despite their morale-boosting 2-0 win over Crewe.Arron Davies opened the scoring on the stroke of half time at the City Ground when Kris Commons fed the ball into his path 20 yards out and he beat Alex keeper Ben Williams with a crisp, low shot into the bottom corner.

And they doubled their advantage in the 52nd minute when Sammy Clingan fired in a free-kick.

Calderwood said: "It was a really good performance from so many different points of view but it's important that we keep it all in perspective.

"The job now is to turn in another display like that and keep on doing it because that's what good teams do. You win nothing at the end of November."
