Torquay have signed Swindon midfielder Steve Adams on a two-and-a-half-year contract and Town's Kaid Mohamed on a month's loan.Adams, 27, who is joined at Plainmoor by Mohamed, who has made six appearances for the Robins this season and is out of contract in the summer.
The duo have signed in time for Monday night's home clash against Histon.
Torquay boss Paul Buckle said: "Steve is a massive signing for this club and we have also signed Roscoe D'Sane from Accrington. The squad have been excellent so far this season but it never hurts to freshen things up - and that's what we are doing.
"It's healthy to have competition for places."
